"You give out very little sugar with your pronouncements. While I sat there watchin’ I gave some thought to stealin’ a kiss… though you are very young, and sick… and unattractive to boot. But now I have a mind to give you five or six good licks with my belt!" Matt Damon (Texas Ranger La Boeuf)
Released January 20th Nation wide

Adapted from the Charles Portis' novel (of the same name), it is nothing short of gutsy to remake a John Wayne classic!

True Grit, is a punchy, witty, and well-written screenplay, that will leave you pondering the sexist and crude nature of the Western Frontier... Yes, this could just be the perfect film!

Written, produced, and directed by the Coen brothers, who recently gave us 'Burn After Reading' in 08, and 'A Serious Man' 09, 'True Grit' is cast superbly, directed incredibly, and produced magnificently.. (keep the list going). Though, taking home the top prize is the quick-talking, Hailee Steinfeld (Mattie Ross), the vengeance obsessed minor, keen to revenge her father's murder at all costs!

With both Bridges and Damon also drawing incredible performances to the trio, this film is a perfect ode to the Western genre, unlike some..I.e. 'Jonah Hex'. Saddle up and jump on board!
